Meeting Great Aussies and their owners

Hope you all had a great summer. Next week I will be back with my 1 dog art a day project.

My summer was filled with dogs. I had a great tiem meeting a lot of them and taking their pictures.

Last weekend I did spend it with 30 dogs, most of them Aussies. Enjoy the video clip from that great weekend

Yesterday I was happy to deliver 2 Art pieces to Frontier Animal Society for their auction/fundraiser that will happen next week. I hope they will sell well so the shelter get some money.

Back to the Blog

Well, it has been a long time since I have put an entry on the Blog. The passing of my dear Brutus and Cesca was very hard and it did require some time to adjust going back to the Dog Photography and Art world.

Now I am back doing even more that I did last year, beside doing private Dog photo session I have also created Modern Dog Art Portrait(originating from my original photos). This has been a lot of fun.

Starting this week, I am giving myself the challenge of 1 dog art a day that I will be posting on this blog, So keep you eyes open.

In honor of Brutus, see one of my past Modern Dog Art that was done just for him.

BRUTUS JUST PASSED AWAY 1993-2006

Brutus,
From the moment we met, we fell in love with you.
You made us so happy and proud to be your parents.
Your tail was wagging constantly from moving into your new house until the last moment when I held you in my arms.

You taught us unconditional love.
We wanted to make the rest of your life so full of joy and I hope we have accomplished that in the fast and short 3 months we were together.

You gained a brother with us, Cesca, which you loved so much that both of you left us within 24hours. I hope you are together in Doggy Heaven.

You are leaving an enormous emptiness in our house but more importantly in our hearts.

We will always be the proud Mama and Papa of Brutus.

I like food, all type of food, but especially my mom's cooking. My favorite treat is when she is cooking for me and gives me a few pieces of frozen broccoli. It is nice, cold and crunchy, perfect treat for hot summer day.

You, do you have a favorite treat? I know my mom’s is chocolate….and she is not sharing because she knows chocolate is not good for dogs.

MY PROMOTION

MY PROMOTION

Well, my promotion came pretty fast and it was a total surprise to me.
I have been named CED of La Puparazzi.com, which stands for “Chief Executive Dog”.

I was moved into that position when my brother Cesca retired; he is now 15 years old and enjoying retirement to the maximum.

So my role is to make sure that office stress is relieved by petting my shiny fur, to follow everybody to the kitchen and give the appearance of napping when I am really supervising this entire organization.

So much work for http://www.lapuparazzi.com/ but I love my new job and the personal benefits are great also.

ME AND MY BROTHER

I had totally forgotten to introduce you to my brother Cesca (I do get senior moments once in a while, I am 13 after all)

Cesca is a lucky guy, he has been living with Steve and Brigitte all his life and he is now 15 years old (looking good for your age buddy)

I look up to him since he is kind of “senior” to me. He likes me a lot, he always want to lay down next to me or enjoy liking my head for no reason….I let him do it, just because he is my brother and I love him.

Well, let me tell you why I like this black leather chair so much, I can nap all day and nobody notice…

I love it so much that sometime at night I sneak in the media room and spend the night on it.

My mom did put a nice cozy blanket on it, not sure if it is for my comfort or just so she can see me sleep….

Since I work so hard, maybe I will get a promotion soon.

To take some pictures of graduating dogs this weekend.
Well to my surprise she brought back a picture of an old friend from Frontier Animal Society, his name is Diesel.

I was sooooo happy to learn that he also found a good home.

By the way, Diesel did graduate from his Obedience school….Maybe my mom will send me to school also, I think I would love it, Claire seem very nice.

Well, my mom did something so fun, she did a series of photos of "Angel Dogs" (just like me, I am such an angel....).

I got a great toy, it is a purple monkey.
I love to carry it around, but I have trouble since it has long legs and arms, I often stumble on them when I walk around.

When I get tired I just lay down, hug it and gum it, then everybody in the room is staring at me, I don’t know why….I guess I look funny.

My second choice is my fluffy pink bone shape toy; even if the color is very “girly” I like it.

Well I have to admit that I am very lucky, I have this HUGE fenced yard to play in. I love to run around, sniff the wild life that came around to visit during the night or just listen to the baby birds that just came out of their shell this morning.

The best thing is the BBQ is also in my yard. I can wait for my mom and dad to fire it up and cook something goooood for me.
